Clouds (Romancing SaGa Re;univerSe, Souji & Final Emperor)
Title: Clouds

Prompt: 2 & 3 - head in the clouds
The day morning was warm and Souji wandered Vanguard almost aimlessly, enjoying the weather and browsing the street markets. There was little he needed, but the walk itself was the destination.
A small park caught his eye and he wandered in that direction, not expecting to see a familiar face sitting quietly on a bench and gazing up at the trees and sky.
"What a beautiful day," Souji said as he walked over to the bench.
"Hmm? Ah…" The Final Emperor seemed surprised to be spoken to. He must have been daydreaming, Souji supposed, or at least lost in some sort of thought.
"I was just wandering by," Souji continued. He smiled and, unfortunately, after having had a fairly good morning, started coughing.
Final Emperor was on his feet immediately, a hand on Souji's back and guiding him to sit.
The fit didn't last long, but it did leave Souji thankful for the hand and the seat.
"My apologies…"
"No, I'm simply glad to have been here. It's such a beautiful day…"
Souji nodded and looked up at the sky and the gauzy white clouds floating by.
There was weight on the bench beside him, but he didn't change his gaze.
"I was thinking…"
