Well, no_true_pair, we've done it! We've... used all our tags. While we were staring down this possibility as a future event early in 2023, the fantastic participation and enthusiasm of the community has made the future into the now.
What this means:
ETA: Thank you very much to the kind person who bought us a year of paid time! We now have an extra thousand tags available. Let's make the most of them!
1) After the conclusion of the current round, in a ~week, no further character tags will be created.
2) As needed, character tags will be removed from entries beginning in 2009 and working forward as needed to provide creator and fandom tags for future rounds. Round, creator, and fandom tags will stay in place.
3) We seriously added about 400 new creator, fandom, and character tags over the last two years. That's amazing! Thank you all for being here! Having lots of activity is a wonderful 'problem' to have. ^_^
