How are you doing? I'm making up a little ground...But just a little.. (Out of all the prompts I ended up with this round, I made up a list of 41 I wanted to fill somehow. I'm almost halfway there. Overambitious much? On the off chance you want to see what I plan on getting around to, check my journal.)

Anyway, let's talk about prompt wish fulfillment!

Nothing really jumps out to me (probably because I was so happy with what I got), but Shizuo and Izaya (who ended up with "pick your poison" on my list) would've also gone well with "this conversation never happened." I could've imagined writing Yun and Chris for "so much for so little" and any combination of the girls from Puella Magi Madoka Magica for "the price you pay for miracles" (but that's practically cheating, since it inspired that prompt).

I'm not sure I can come up with a good story idea for "Izaya hurries in the evening and lingers in the morning. Kimblee has some questions about this," so it might just be art from me, but anyone who wrote some Kimblee/Izaya for me would have my unending thanks. (I'd love to see someone else write some Madoka Magica crossovers or try their hand at Shizuo/Winry too though).

Nothing else has really altered my internal state of affairs/interests in this time span except more original writing, but it's a project I'm taking very seriously and thus don't want to blab about publicly all over the internet. Anyway, I don't think I'd be that interested in writing "for fun" sort of stories about the characters.........I'd just really love to read someone else's stories about them. ^^; There you have it. I hope to be published someday so someone else writes fanfiction about my characters.

Oh man, the Roy/Riza part of me would put them under the "Roy and Riza both have scars." So much hurt and comfort ~~and smut~~ potential. I'm so predictable. XD;

Another one I would like to do is "Ling and Greed with the title, 'The Promised Land'" because this could be an interesting AU scenario over what happens if Greed and Ling are still one being.

Hm, I like to see someone do the "Jade has been kidnapped! Is Terezi ready to rush to Jade's rescue? Or is he/she involved in the abduction?" I want to do this one, but I'm still trying to familiarize myself with Homestuck, so someone who knows the fandom well will do this prompt much better than me.

Ooh, Roy and Riza would be absolutely perfect for that prompt. I can definitely follow your line of reasoning there.

i'm feeling a little burnt-out atm, but i'm still looking forward to finishing more prompts later.

actually one of the prompts i'm working on unexpectedly started my interest in interaction between the brothers-in-law, Kanaharu and Akito. and now i wish i could put them into the prompt: Akito tries on Harumoto's clothes.

oh, a prompt that interests me but that i don't want to even start thinking about is: Akiku is looking for someone to grow old with. Could that person be Genji? (and also Jiru is looking for someone to grow old with. Could that person be Harumoto?). speculation into the far future of their lives is just the sort of thing i'd love to see from someone else's perspective and imaginings (haha as unlikely as that is to ever happen ;;).

Well, I'm hoping that people will continue to find their prompts interesting after the initial posting period has passed and keep up a trickle of activity here in the in-between time, so take it easy and come back later.

I really feel for you with the wanting to "see from someone else's perspective and imaginings"... I've alluded to a few things in the more distant pasts of my characters recently and thought, "I want someone else to tell me the story of that!"

I hope that someday you can have a dedicated reader/fan who will provide that speculation for you!!

which 'verse have you been working on recently? also, i wonder if you'll be posting further pieces of the Bashir 'verse publicly or if that project is under wraps until published? i remember that the main characters all seemed to have rather interesting hinted histories.

Right now it's mainly a very new affair (nameless as usual) with the Ace of Hearts. It was an idea that just exploded fantastically all at once in my mind.

I don't really have an specific plans regarding Bashir's story because I've only picked at it sporadically since the fall (argh, here comes the fear of never finishing), but I guess I didn't plan on posting any more full chapters because I don't know how that would work out with the possibility of publication. .......It could be a long time until I make a significant amount of progress though, so if you're really interested I could e-mail you some or set a special filter for them (there are currently 6 completed chapters)...

Anyway, it makes me feel good to hear you say that about them! :D
