"That cannot be a real word." Greer leaned over the board to tally up his points. "And a double word score? Come on!"
"Do you challenge?" Badr didn't look up from the clinic paperwork on his tablet. He was multitasking, and still whooping her butt at Scrabble in his second language and her first. That was just unfair.
She groaned. "No. But if I find out that Khonshu is the god of word games or something, we're switching to checkers."
He almost cracked a smile, she could tell, but only said "Your turn, then," and passed her the letter bag.
