Echo hissed as Fives very suddenly rolled over into his space, clinging to him as if his life depended on it.
"You're here, you're alive, you're right here," Fives said, almost incoherent at how fierce the words were, while the hold on Echo never eased.
"Shh, vod, shh, still right here, still with you. It was all a bad batch of Hardcase's liquor," Echo reassured, sleepy mind immediately knowing what had happened, what was going through Fives' head.
"Can't lose you, can't be last, can't get by without you."
"I know, I know. We're together, always. Dominoes to the end."
