Coming to Fort was hard on Nerilka, but Alessan had insisted on this trip to hold their heads high. The same being cast upon her father was… impressive, even as Nerilka fidgeted to be treated with respect from some of the very people that made the life of the Fort Horde so hard.
She had to put the past behind her… but seeing Capiam gave her an excuse to leave the crowd, hurrying to catch him.
"Master Healer," she said, and he paused, smiling at her.
"Need escape?"
"Yes, please!"
He gave her his arm, daring anyone to bother her.
