Perhaps that last is just me.
In any case, we're going to try something new this time. We are going to have a holiday round. *waits for groans to stop*
It's a pretty simple thing, actually. You are going to give your lists as normal, wait for prompts, mutter about prompts, and...pick from other peoples prompt to write.
That's right. You'll be writing from someone else's list.
Here is how it will work. I'm going to post a post after this so people can get together and talk about fandoms and such. Signups will start on Oct 1st and last until Oct 20th. Then I'll post the prompts.
You will do what you usually do, replace numbers with names. Only then there is an extra step. You will post that list to a post that goes up with the prompts. My fellow mod and I shall do some organization, and then post a Master List on November 1st. It will be sorted by posting week and fandom, and you will pick prompts to write from there.
Yes, other peoples prompts. No, no signup/claiming is required. Yes, we know that means that some prompts might get picked more than once, and some might not get picked at all.
And while we'd rather you didn't, we are sure some will still pick up a prompt of their own to write, and we're okay with it.
So, here is the schedule.
Sep 29: Chat about fandoms and such
Oct 1-20: Sign ups
Oct 21: Prompt release and character added prompts posted to mod post
Nov 1: Masterlist of prompts posted and writing may begin.
Dec 1: Posting of fics/art/icons starts
