Prompt: July 21 - Suikoden III and Golden Kamuy: “I’ve heard of you!”
"I had no idea there was an all-women village deep in the forests of Hokkaido!" Sugimoto wondered over the looks of the tiny town settled in the depths of the forest. They were many rather beautiful specimens gathering here and there, talking with each other and laughing.
"Yeah, I would withhold your guessing until you've seen what's here," Asirpa rolled her eyes. Sugimoto could be such a child. "Also, they're called 'the Alma Kinan.'"
A particularly extroverted girl from among the Alma Kinan approached them. "Hello," she introduced herself, "I'm Yumi."
"Asirpa," she said.
"Oooh," Yumi replied, "It's always such a good gift to meet a young Ainu girl!"
Asirpa blushes, "Oh, don't make a fuss over me."
"But it's so rare! Even if this is mainly your island." Yumi put her hands on her hips. "And he's, hmm-"
"Sugimoto," Asirpa answered.
Would she only talk to other women? Sugimoto looked at her and smiled to show that he was a nice guy. Yumi flipped her fingers at him, in a somewhat flirtatious gesture. "I've heard of you," Sugimoto ventured.
"Me in particular?" she replied, "Or my people in general?"
"Uh, your people, I guess."
Asirpa rolled her eyes again. "Sugimoto, don't be such a doofus," she pushed at his arm.
"Sorry," he pulled on the brim of his cap.
