Prompt: July 21 - 2 [Miraculous Ladybug] and 3 [Star Wars]: "I've heard of you!"
Summary: An attack from an akumatized supervillain sends Max's Miraculous awry, but he can't complain about where he ended up.
Max didn’t have enough data on the Miraculous to precisely calculate the chances, but he estimated an over 95% chance that something had gone very wrong when the villain’s power had hit him as the same time as he had entered his own portal.
That estimate only increased in certainty as his transformation gave way immediately after a rough landing on the other side. He saw Kaalki groaning weakly in the dirt, something her pride would never let her do if she could help it.
He picked her up gently, not entirely sure where to look for injuries on a kwami, but Max made some educated guesses.
“Just… some rest, and food,” she managed, her voice much fainter, but her confidence remained, much to Max’s relief.
“Do you need help?”
Max looked up, and found himself speechless.
“I’m not sure exactly what I just saw, but that looked like a rough landing. I’m Luke Skywalker, by the way,” he said, extending out a hand to Max.
“Oh…” Max said, feeling a little faint himself. “Yes, I’ve heard of you…”
Maybe it’d be alright to let Kaalki take her time recovering, and stay in this nerd’s fantasy for a little while.
