Title: Helping Hand
Author:
darkicedragon
Fandom: The Legend of Sun Knight
Pairing/characters: Storm, Judgement
Rating: PG
Warnings: None
Summary: Storm bumps into Judgement.
Word Count: 302
Prompt/challenge you're answering: Judgement & Storm, "Give me your hand."
Storm adjusted his grip on the papers, making sure to dodge around people. He thankfully didn't hear anyone calling out to him, and he was fairly sure he didn't see any women. He was nearly at his room as well; there he would –
Not be walking into people, squawking when he dropped the paperwork. Oh, dammit.
Storm was instantly on the floor, hoping they weren't crushed and the other person wouldn’t tread all over them as they walked past. He paused when he realised the person he'd bumped into was kneeling down as well, picking up the papers.
"Thank you…Judgement?" Somehow he'd been so engrossed in thinking about his room he hadn't realised who it was he'd bumped into.
Judgement hummed in acknowledgement, straightening out the paperwork. "You're still writing up about the chickens spontaneously growing an extra set of wings?"
Storm grimaced. "Yes." The problem was a couple of pages were missing from the report, so he had to keep chasing Fire up about them.
"I'll take these, then," Judgement murmured, sliding the papers in his hand into a fold of his robe.
He opened his mouth to protest –he was the one who had been given that work to do- but Judgement shook his head. "You covered my workload last month."
…That was true. Storm had somehow been able to finish his paperwork faster than usual (it might have had something to do with Sun doing his own for once) so when he'd seen how Judgement always had a sheaf of papers in his hand, Storm had offered to do some of his workload.
With a grateful smile, Storm nodded to Judgement, making sure the rest of the papers weren't crumpled, and started to make his way to his bedroom again, relief rising in him.
He might actually sleep tonight.
