Frank had no idea how a walk in the park had turned into sprinting for his life, but he wasn’t about to argue with the one creature within reach who wasn’t an apparition or a monster. The hand he grabbed promptly yanked him over the wall, and both he and the person attached to the hand landed heavily on the sward below.
“Sorry about that,” the man panted. “You’re more solid than you look.”
“You’re as solid as you look, and I’m glad of that,” Frank replied.
“Let’s get out of here and get you seen to.” They raced away.
