"Me mug. It's half gone," Catti-brie protested, head on her arm stretched out along the table.
"Seems to me, that it is half full yet indicates you may be near the end of our little bet," Alustriel said, eyes dancing merrily.
"Nae, 'tis not!" Catti-brie firmly declared, shooting upright and her other hand coming for the mug.
Feather-fall was a useful spell, when that sudden motion toppled the fighter over off her stool backwards, and Alustriel could not help but laugh.
"Raised by dwarves you might be, but I was Harper-trained," she told Catti.
"Aye, twas a fool's bet indeed."
