"So they have actively banned any exploration of the Southern Continent?" Desdra asked as she settled in for her chat with Moreta. "I hope the captains all heed the ban, and crack down on those whose logs show any straying."
"The case of the captured feline should be a resounding lesson, yes," Moreta said, shifting a little in discomfort from her late pregnancy. "There is talk of an aerial survey, once the Interval is on, but not until then, and only to see if the cats are spotted all over."
"More information is good, so long as the riders stay a-wing." Desdra focused on her more intently. "Any spotting, actual bleeding, anything unusual from your other pregnancies?"
Moreta smiled at her for the concern. "No, Master Healer," she said teasingly. "It's just been awhile, and it happened before I'd fully gotten my stamina back."
Desdra hummed, but she'd visit often.
