According to the plan, Steel would need to reconnect the wires in another room to free the civilians and himself. However, Steel's current hands were ill equipped to deal with delicate work.
"I'll go with you. I have the expertise," Spock said calmly.
Steel needed help, but Spock was a civilian who might not understand the risk.
He warned,"The enemies may discover us."
"It's the only way,"
Spock exchanged glances with his friend, Jim.
Jim unhappily patted Spock's arm. "Be safe. I'll wait for you."
"I'll keep watch," Steel mentally planned the safest route. He would keep them safe.
