Once Tsuzuki notices, it’s all he can think about.
He can’t prove it without separating Yuugi Mutou from the Puzzle spirit. Though that’s his original mission (can’t let an Ancient Egyptian ghost wander around in Japan), it’s only possible if the spirit has recovered his memories.
So he watches from a distance, occasionally helping out when Yuugi and his friends get into trouble, always disguising himself.
He only steps out of the shadows when Yuugi returns from Egypt after leaving the Pharaoh behind.
The purest of heart until the end; Yuugi’s eyes are still purple.
Hope soars in Tsuzuki’s chest.
