"No Desdra?" Moreta asked, walking with Capiam toward the infirmary they had been converting some lower Caverns into.
"I sent her to go rest at Ista Hold, for a time," he answered. "She has been pushing herself too hard on this project to oversee the installation of quarantine spaces and sick rooms."
"It helps us," Moreta murmured.
"I know, and it is needed." Capiam shook his head. "I just don't want her undermining her health for the sake of Pern, now we are out of the emergency.
"I understand that, my friend." She patted his hand before continuing the tour.
