B'lerion, having seen Hannath and Oklina into quarters, was the one to take Nerilka back, Alessan having left earlier, as soon as he could. She had offered to remain, so that Ruatha's presence was known, and noted other notables paying attention to that.

"He'll recover," B'lerion offered bleakly, indicating the hold below them as she was climbing down.

"He is recovering," Nerilka gently said. "Just as we all are. Today was important to all Pern, a beginning, where we truly put the ravages behind us, and focus on the rebuilding ahead."

"Well said, Lady Nerilka," B'lerion told her, quite proudly.
