Prompt: September Fifth - Kimblee & Mags beat the heat
"Why is he dressed like that?" Faline asked.
It was a full three-piece white suit. Definitely not something a person would regularly wear to come walking on the beach.
"He's even got on loafers," Faline noted. "What a bad choice for the beach."
"Let's go ask him about it," Mags shrugged.
"Hey, Mister!" she waved to him. "Why are you dressed like that while walking along the beach?"
"Hmm," he plucked at his suit. "I suppose I am." He took his hat off his head and fanned himself with it.
"Are you from the Capitol?"
He frowned. "Why the Capitol? Couldn't I be just as District as you?"
Faline and Mags exchanged a look. "Uh, well, District citizens are rarely allowed to travel between Districts. I mean, unless you're a victor...?"
"Not a victor. Just a rebel."
Should he be saying that out here in broad daylight? Faline and Mags exchanged another look, this one somewhat more uncertain. "Well, uh, let's help you get a bit more dressed down- if, uh, you'd like?"
"Hmm," he considered that idea. "Yes, please."
Faline showed a semi-conspiratorial smile to her. "That means we're going to get to take off some of your clothing."
"True," Mags agreed.
"It doesn't mean anything to me," Kimblee raised a nonchalant eyebrow. "I have no issue with being manhandled."
Both girls giggled. "Well, manhandle you we shall!" Mags announced. They were on him in a millisecond, pulling off his suit coat and hat and rolling up his sleeves roughly to the elbow. Obviously, his fedora was also removed as were his loafers and stockings. Mags folded up the ends of his pant legs, just enough to keep them out of the surf.
"You look nice."
Faline and Mags shook their heads at each other. "He looks just perfect!"
