Toddy sat up slowly and rubbed his face, reassured that the train was still moving, that he couldn't hear bombers above. The traveler in the sleeping compartment across from him was doing something so similar that Toddy couldn't help but chuckle in sympathy.
"Dreams of the war behind us?"
"And ahead, figuratively," the American said. "Indy."
"Toddy," the aging queen said with a smile. "Shall we perambulate our way to the dinner car? I sincerely doubt I will sleep more, and you look about the same."
"I think I'd like the company," Indy told him, before both exited their compartments.
