Victor eyed the parcel, noting the customs stamp, and then grinned slyly.
"Still?"
"He dreams of retiring to the French countryside with me someday," Toddy pronounced. Honestly, I think he'd never gotten a proper handle on being gay until me."
"You do have a way of teaching. Mr. Bernstein was a bright spot in my short fling as Mrs. King," Victor told him. "I suppose, if he dodges bullets long enough to retire, we can set him up in the guest room. As I recall you said something about the dent he left in the bed."
Toddy chuckled, considering it.
