"I know," Evelyn said with a deep sigh. "No one realized that town would be the target."
"Toddy, for all he is aging, is a resourceful man, and I have it on good authority so is your handsome Egyptian."
That did make her companion stop pacing, blushing a little as she tried to find the society proper dismissal of the words' intent.
"My friend, I live in different circles where life is what we make of it. What you and he and your husband have is just another part of living life freely."
