Summary: Neil knows they probably won’t survive the war they’ve been waging and that Tieria was not exactly a normal human. But something kept drawing him to Tieria…

It was a bad idea to let himself get attached, Neil knew that. But Celestial Being - the members of his team - had needed him to play different roles in their lives and he just- Didn’t stop himself. Who could have guessed, though, that Tieria would join the ranks of those attempting to tie Lockon Stratos to them.

Neil had enjoyed irritating and challenging Tieria; wanted to see the flash and fire locked so tight within his icy disdain. Seeing Tieria march off in a huff - which Tieria would deny to the ends of the universe and back - never failed to amuse Neil. Slowly, though, with the passing of time and secrets Neil could not help but be drawn to Tieria. Tieria who needed him in a way neither of them fully understood. Tieria who Lockon felt the need to protect. Just- Tieria. In all of his otherness and pastel cardigans and eyes oh-so-wide behind glasses he didn’t truly need.

Neil knows that they probably won’t survive the war they’re waging - beginning and ending and beginning - and if, by chance, they do- Tieria was not a normal human. How long Neil might live in comparison was- But Neil could not keep from reaching out to him. Could not stop his fingers from tangling in silky, purple hair. Could not stop his lips from pressing against Tieria’s - parted in shock, a soft pant of want - and just-

Could not stop taking and giving more, for however short a time they had remaining.

If you still like the ideas enough to work on them, keep on writing! I'd be happy for members to continue to post up until sign-ups start for the next round (and that won't be until, at earliest, the end of the summer)!

You really bring the Gundam 00 love to this community! I haven't watched it, although I've enjoyed several of the other Gundam shows. ...I trust you'd recommend it? :D

Yes~ I definitely recommend it as it's my favorite series in the Gundam franchise and one of my favorite anime overall. Between the awesome characters (with designs by Kouga Yun ♥), the interesting if slow-building plot (almost excruciatingly so at times, but worth it), and canon(-ish Neil/Tieria = nu!Trowa/Quatre haha) pairings that I don't hate... Well. There's a reason it's a long-time obsession of mine.

Though I can't say anything about the movie. I've just gotten ahold of it, but haven't finished my re-watch of season two yet, so yeah. I have high hopes, though!

I know I'm going to be getting fics out here and there for a while now... I'm glad that you'll be writing along with me! (It's kind of embarrassing when you're the mod when it starts to seem too much like a one-girl show ^^;)

Thanks for the recommendation! Gundam 00 has definitely made its way onto my short 'anime to watch' list. I've watched some pretty slow anime that never ended up really going anywhere (of interest to me at least), so I can definitely hang in there for one that's going to give me a good payoff! (All the pretty boys and their great seiyuu had peeked my interest)
