Rating: G
Prompt: July 19 - Golden Kamuy and Suikoden II: Very bright lights

"Woah, what was that?" Nanami asked, "Some kind of comet?"
"It was a low-flying will-o'-the-wisp," Asirpa explained, "A very bright one though."
"I never knew they could move that fast!"
Her brother smiled at her, but said nothing. He wasn't the overly chatty type.
There were a lot more non-Ainu people coming into Hokkaido of late. Nanami and her brother were among them. It seemed like they didn't know anything about the land and its traditions, so in some situations, it was up to Asirpa to guide them and teach them, especially if they were considering living here.
Nanami spoke enough for the two of them, Asirpa thought. No wonder her brother remained so quiet.
"C'mon," she waved the two along to follow her through the thick snow. Nanami stumbled immediately and her brother offered his hand. He was a better snow-navigator. He reminded her a little of Sugimoto. ...She hadn't seen Sugimoto in what felt like ages... But it was probably only a couple of months. Honestly, she missed him. Definitely more than Shiraishi, who was just a walking mouth. He was just kind. More kind than anyone she had met in a long time.
"Now which way?" Nanami asked.
It occurred to Asirpa that, lost in reverie, she had stopped. "Uh, that way," she pointed.
