Pairing/Characters: Charlie Watson & Thundercracker

Prompt: September Fourteen - 3 & 6 - new and improved
"Okay, Big Guy. The oscilloscope agrees that we've got every single part able to vibrate at the right wavelength," Charlie said, backing up from the diagnostic screens she'd been using. "Ready to test it?"
"In your crude vernacular, hell yeah," Thundercracker said. "C'mon; hop in."
For the second time in two months, Charlie willingly got inside a Decepticon cockpit, and was soon in the skies, with the hum of the mech's engines purring.
"Feels and sounds — whoa!"
Thundercracker's laugh was kind of nice, as he kicked it in and had them on breakaway course for space in a heartbeat. He was keeping the internal pressures modulated, so the squishy didn't splatter inside his cockpit.
"It worked!" he crowed. "Harmonizing everything, looping it in with my sonics… barely even dipped my energy level for that!"
"Yeah, that's…" Charlie's words fell away as she saw the black of space ahead, and looked back to see Earth receding. "Oh…"
"Never been in the black? Shame. Some Autobot shoulda showed you, as much help as you give them."
"Probably too busy." Charlie was memorizing it all, letting it seep in with all its grandeur.
"Consider it payment for helping me out."
"You got it."
