No True Pair 2026 Eight-Character Challenge Posting!

[kalloway]

Once it's September 1st wherever you are, you may begin posting! Post as close to the assigned date as possible until amnesty, but also don't worry about a day or so either way. If you are in an area without stable access to the internet/DW, post when you can; it's fine.

Please include at least the following:

Title:
Fandom:
Pairing/Characters: (the two from the prompt, for tagging purposes)
Content Notes: (required if included: Death, Violence, Underage, Rape/Noncon. Or- Choose Not to Warn, any additional notes)
Prompt: (e.g. June 31st, Darth Vader and Lex Luthor pet kittens.)

You can use the pre-formatted code you get from any site using otw-archive software as long as you also note which prompt you're answering.

The subject line should be something like: Title (Fandom(s), Pairing/Characters).

You may post directly to this community, to your own journal/fic journal/fic community, or to an offsite archive of your choice including AO3, Squidgeworld, Superlove, Sunset, etc. (AO3 & Sunset links go to unofficial collections. If anyone ever wants to make unofficial collections elsewhere, just drop me a link.)

Tagging: Each piece will get a tag for its fandom(s), creator, characters-in-the-prompt, and the challenge round that it answers. Tags will be made regularly, if not daily. If tags exist, please use them. (Tags may take a bit longer this round due to an IRL situation.) You do not need to let me know that something needs to be tagged but if a fandom has a very long or confusing title and you want to suggest the best way to identify it, please do. If I have managed a typo or otherwise, please either PM or leave a comment on any of my !admin posts.

Absolutely and I've added a link! Thank you for all you do!

I'm travelling in a country where I don't live for the next ten days or so, so posting might depend on when I have wifi. I'll do my best to be near the prompt posting date!

Anything you aren't able to post during the event can also be posted immediately after (or whenever after, til we start again next year).

If someone doesn't have dreamwidth but really likes those prompts and would like to do them for themselves and possibly post on AO3, would that be cool?

No True Pair prompts are all public, so anyone is welcome at any time to use them for any project whether I can personally see it or not.
