Rachel sighed as he picked up his fork.
Thanks, King's Guard duties I don't actually have right now but, whatever --
Not that it was bad being parked across a fancy table setting from his unexpected (thanks, Zeon) dinner guest. Rood looked really good for a dead half-myth guy -- hell he looked good anyway.
Aaand stop right there, me, before you regret it.
"Rachel?"
Damnit, was that concern? It was. Rood was watching him, brows crimped juuust a bit. Auugh. Rachel waved it off fast, fork flashing.
"I was -- just thinking, want to spar later?"
Concern morphed into pleased surprise.
