He said it as gently as he could, but it didn't matter; Ramge still flinched, and Rood smothered a sigh. At least Misty's scion was sticking to his principles. However --
However, the issue was Misty, and Rood was not giving an inch either.
He tapped the book and its colour-plate, and shook his head.
"Misty never wore such dark colours. And her hair was pale, rosy lavender. This --"
"All our paintings show her like this, though."
Rood looked up from the book to the sooty-haired, bloody-eyed mirror of it.
He had so many questions.
