Here are the prompts for no_true_pair's 2022 Eight-Character Challenge, along with the dates for posting!

The prompts use numbers so that you can find/replace from your list(s).


September One - 1 finds 7's lost [item] and...
September Two - 4 & 6 with the title "Ready to Go"
September Three - 7 hits it off with someone at a costume party/ball; wait it's 8?
September Four - 2 & 3- head in the clouds
September Five - 4 & 5 - in the woods
September Six - 1 & 3 - hot
September Seven - 3 has no idea what they look like to 4
September Eight - 2 & 8 - play a board game
September Nine - 1 writes a letter to 2
September Ten - 3 & 8 titled "Magic Touch"
September Eleven - 2 & 7 - under a full moon
September Twelve - 6 & 8 - "wait, did you just make up this holiday?"
September Thirteen - both 2 & 4 reach for the last [item]
September Fourteen - 3 & 5 - lessons
September Fifteen - 4 & 8 - "That's gotta hurt."
September Sixteen - while waiting, 1 strikes up a conversation with 6

September Twenty-three - 1 & 4 with the title "Roll With The Changes"
September Twenty-four - 3 & 6 meet up for brunch
September Twenty-five - 1 needs a little extra [choice], can 5 help?
September Twenty-six - 3 & 7 - purple
September Twenty-seven - 4 & 7 "There's a silver lining to this."
September Twenty-eight - 5 & 8 - another year has passed.

There are no set minimums for works, and while no_true_pair has traditionally been fic/art, if you're inspired to work in another medium, go ahead! Works can be romantic or platonic or the space in-between. The prompts are for inspiration; you don't need to justify how you got from the prompt to the finished product and interpretation is up to you. ^_^
